Training & Boarding Rates for 2011
Dedication to Horse & Rider
ALL BALANCES MUST BE PAID IN FULL UPON RECEIPT OR WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FINANCE CHARGE OF 10% PER MONTH.
NSF cheques will be assessed a $25 fee.

$500.00/month + GST |
The following services will be included in the training charges.
1. Daily maintenance, grooming and turnout.
2. Supplies used in maintenance such as leg wraps, shampoo brushes etc.
3. Training is based on a five-day week, the remaining days horses are lunged or turned-out or rested at Greggs discretion.
We do not encourage horses to be in training for less than 3 months and we require a minimum of four (4) weeks notice upon arrival and departure of training horses.
Special consideration for a show tune up or sale preparation.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR TRAINING HORSES WILL INCLUDE:
1. Monthly Board on your horse payable to LAUDER RANCH.
2. All training horses are included in Lauder Ranch farrier schedule and are required to use Lauder Ranch farriers. Farriers will bill directly.
3. All training horses are required to participate in Lauder Ranch’s Immunization Program which includes regular deworming and vaccinations. Customers will be billed directly by Lauder Ranch Veterinaries.
4. Blanket and sheet washing and repairs. Lauder ranch has arranged for a pick up and drop off service with Showcase Horse Products in Cochrane (932-4776). It is recommended to set-up an account with Showcase.
5. Minor medications such as bute, antibiotics etc. to be billed at cost when not given by the vet.
6. LESSONS with a horse/s in training additional to the above will be at $30.00 each (for a group of 3 or more) or $40.00 each (maximum 1 or 2 riders). Lessons will be arranged directly with Gregg Lauder.
6. Administration Charge for out of country training horses. An administration charge will be charged to all out of country horses to cover incidentals including: extra time to coordinate showing and traveling, phone calls, banking charges, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: Clients hauling in for a lessons will be charged a $10 arena use fee.
Lessons are scheduled directly with Gregg and require 24 hours notice for cancellation.
NON PRO SHOWING PROGRAM
Together, Gregg and the Non Pro will discuss what classes to enter at applicable shows. Non Pros are responsible for completing their entries and entering the show. On your entry indicate that you would like to be stabled with Gregg Lauder. Lesson times will be coordinated around Gregg's schedule at the show, and he will try to be there to help you when needed, to watch you show, and critique your run. Non Pro’s will be responsible for sharing in hotel, meals and miscellaneous show costs plus applicable hauling charges. (See Additional Show & Travel Expenses).
TRAINING HORSES SHOW AND TRAVEL EXPENSES
Gregg & the client will determine the training horse's show schedule. Once the show schedule is determined, Gregg will fill out the entry for your horse in each show. You will receive a copy of the completed entry form, which will include the class or classes entered, the stall, the number of paid warm-ups, as well as the necessary show memberships that are needed. You will be responsible for submitting completed entry form, along with applicable attachments (registration papers etc.) and payment to applicable show secretary.
ADDITIONAL SHOW AND TRAVEL EXPENSES
1. Hauling at .45 per km. ($30.00 minimum per day).
2. Hotel, meals and miscellaneous show costs (including: tack and/or feed stalls) will be divided equally between total numbers of horses (including Non Pro Horses) at the show. These will be billed by Gregg Lauder.
3. All class entry fees, judges, related show fees (office charges, memberships, late penalties if applicable etc.) and all stall and bedding costs for your horse. These fees are payable directly to applicable show secretary.
4. All lesson fees at the shows (including show prep and warm up) will be $30.00 per day.
5. Concerning purse money won when Gregg Lauder shows your horse: a. Money won minus the class entry fee is then split 50/50.
All prizes retained by the owner except trophy buckle won (retained by rider).

SALES
Gregg Lauder will advertise horse on website and assist with the marketing of the horse. All owners will be assessed a 10% commission fee if horses are sold while in the care of Gregg Lauder Reining Horses. If there is another trainer or agent involved any splitting of a commission shall be done through Gregg Lauder.
